In the beginning Sports Activities were started with 29 affiliated colleges in this University. At present 365 Colleges are affiliated to this University for the Sports Activities.
This first Games & Sports meet for Men & Women was conducted at Guntur Medical College, Guntur in March 1989 in all the events.
